truly "American" art forms, distinct from European influences and commercialized white culture.

Through a blend of soulful melodies, poignant lyrics, and evocative poetry,
the show highlights how music has been a vital tool for resistance, empowerment, and change across generations.
This stage presentation is directed and produced by Liberated Muse's founding director, Khadijah Z. Ali-Coleman
